Ladies and Gents, say "Hallo!" to OKTAGON, the brand new Easter Cake, for you all!

Dearest MK's Friends!
Are you ready for Easter 2o17?
According to the Italic uses, generally, people have typical chocolate eggs, easter cakes which can be savoury flan or the more famous and spread Dove-shaped easter cake, etc...

Since the above listed ones are commonly found at the cake shop, supermarkets, bars etc...I thought I'd love to vary from the classic theme and share with you an interesting cake realised to allow people who can't eat gluten flours to have their chance to taste something nice during the Easter holiday.

Here is my gift for you all.

Get paper and pen, and take notes.

HAPPY EASTER!
MK

Ingredients:

♦ 175gr Cheakpea Flour;
♦ 80gr Chestnut Flour;
♦ 40gr Almond Flour;
♦ 450ml Almond Milk;
♦ 1/4 glass of Extra Virgin Olive Oil;
♦ 1/4 glass of Grapeseed Oil;
♦ 2 whole eggs;
♦ 45gr Extra Dark Chocolate (85%);
♦ 110gr Cane Sugar.
♦ 2 glasses of Almond Milk;
♦ Rose Salt of Himalaya (2 generous pinches).
♦ Almonds oily fruit (a handful of 12 circa);
♦ 12gr Baking Powder (for sweets).
♦ Confectioner's sugar/ icing sugar (1 sprinkling).

Other useful tools (described in bulk): 1 bowl, 1 oven, 1 baking pan, 1 baking paper cut at measure, 1 cardboard pinned its extremes to obtain an octagon shape, 1 table spoon, 1 scale, 1 wood spoon.

Method:

Assemble the eggs with brown sugar and a pinch of salt.
When eggs will be well mounted, add, at the recommended doses, alternating, chickpea flour, chestnut flour, almond flour almond milk and olive oil and grapeseed oil, always beating with whips.
Add the baking powder at the end.
In a saucepan, place the chocolate squares with a small quantity of almond milk.
Mix and dissolve the compound. Combine the ingredients already worked together.
Take a small pan and also a cardboard cut and joined to the ends. Fold the cardboard creating an octagonal geometric shape and coat the outer part with baking paper.
Attach the parchment paper to the octagonal cardboard.
Pour the mixture into an octagonal shape.
Preheat oven to 170 ° C-180 ° C approximately.
Bake at 175 ° C for 47 minutes.
Do the toothpick test to ascertain the cooking status.
Remove from oven and let cool. Best served cold otherwise it crumbles.
Decorate the top with almonds and a dusting of icing sugar as it gets a little cold.

[CURIOSITY - according to numerology, and italian lottery, each number has its meaning, so '47' means "the dead who speaks".]

Since Easter is the event of Resurrection, the coffin shaped (8 sides) cake, speaks of death and resurrection of Jesus and of everyone of those have gone through sin and redemption. A nice parallelism, uh?

So said, I renew everyone my best wishes for a Serene Easter 2o17!
SPIRITUAL HUGS,
MK
